Sikh Arts Patrons Honored at 2021 Padma Awards

The Sikh Art & Film Foundation is very proud that two of its esteemed patrons have been honored with 2021 Padma Awards at the Rashpati Bhavna.

• Dr. Narinder Singh Kapany has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan posthumously (his daughter, Kiki Kapany, will receive on his behalf).
• Sardar Tarlochan Singh, former MP and former Chairman Minorities Commission, has been awarded the Padma Bhushan.
  

Open Casting Call for New Musical!

In order to break down barriers of traditional theater auditions regardless of whether you are represented by an agent or not, La Jolla Playhouse invites you to show them what you’ve got! They are seeking video submissions for the upcoming production of Bhangin’ It. The musical will feature various types of South Asian dance and music including everything from bhangra to kathak and ghazals to classics.
